From a Small Kitchen to a Wayzata Favorite
Punch pizza began in 2012 when founder Marcus Webb traded his corporate desk for a wood-fired oven. Armed with a passion for Neapolitan tradition and Minnesota grit, he opened the first Punch pizza location on Wayzata Blvd — determined to create the best punch pizza the region had ever tasted.
What started as a tiny 10-table pizzeria quickly grew into a beloved community landmark. Word spread fast: the dough was fermented for 48 hours, the sauce was made from San Marzano tomatoes, and every pizza was cooked in a custom 900°F oven. People weren't just eating — they were experiencing something special.
Today, Punch pizza serves thousands of guests each week, offers local delivery across the greater Wayzata area, and caters events from intimate dinners to large celebrations. But our soul remains the same: real food, made by real people, for the community we love.
